Umbrella SkyUV

This umbrella not only comforts astronomers during bad weather, but also serves as an excellent parasol thanks to its UV coating. It can even be used for solar observation, providing shade for the observer at the eyepiece!

When open, the umbrella has a diameter of 106 centimetres.

The inside of the umbrella shows stars up to magnitude 4, the Milky Way and bright Messier objects in colours suitable for astronomy torches (blue tones).

When not in use, the screen is protected in a hard plastic case that is open at the bottom to allow moisture to escape.
