THERMACELL MR-BP BACKPACKER
The Thermacell MR-BP BACKPACKER mosquito repellent device was developed especially for camping and backpacking. Thermacell technology provides an effective protection zone of around 20 square metres, which repels up to 98% of mosquitoes and other blood-thirsty insects. Active ingredient tablets are heated with a mini butane gas grill with piezo ignition (no open flame) and release a true-to-nature repellent agent. The MR-BP uses a gas cartridge with a standard screw thread (cartridge not included). The 114g device is easy to use and safe to operate. Since the repellent agent is odourless, Thermacell is a perfect alternative to lotions and sprays that are applied directly to the skin. An initial supply (3 active ingredient tablets) for 12 hours of use is included in the scope of supply.
The active ingredient in the new Thermacell PT19 formula is based on Citriodiol®, an ingredient derived from Eucalyptus citriodora oil, and keeps mosquitoes at bay. Whilst conventional repellents usually need to be applied directly to the skin, Thermacell PT19 works using what is known as ‘protection zone’ technology
