How the altimeter works
In principle, an altimeter works very simply. When you start your tour, find a landmark with the specified altitude. Set this as the starting point using the rotating ring. The pointer shows the current altitude based on changes in air pressure. In rapidly changing weather conditions, the display may not be entirely accurate.
