The Levenhuk Trap LTE20 is a standalone wildlife camera that discreetly monitors an area by automatically capturing photos and videos when it detects movement. It is an indispensable tool for wildlife research, property security, and monitoring remote locations. Researchers and hunters can perform observation of animal behaviour without disturbing nature, while property owners can track activity on their land. The camera's camouflage colour blends seamlessly into forests, bushes or tall grass, making it virtually invisible to humans and wary animals.
60 MP photo and 4K video recording with audio
During the day, the camera records in colour, switching to black and white at night. In low light conditions, the camera uses 850 nm infrared illumination, which is virtually invisible to animals and does not scare them away. The Levenhuk Trap LTE20 delivers sharp photos and videos with a focus range of 1 metre to infinity during the day and 1.5 to 20 metres at night. The wide 120° field of view covers a large area and increases the chance of capturing moving objects. The built-in microphone records sound, helping you identify animals, people and events even outside the camera's field of view. The camera records in high resolution, with photos up to 60 MP and videos up to 4K.
4G LTE for remote control
Stay up to date with everything that happens near your wildlife camera! Simply insert a SIM card and download the TrailCam Go app to access your camera remotely. The app allows you to adjust camera settings and view the latest photos and videos. All media is securely stored in the cloud and can be easily downloaded or shared instantly via messaging apps and email.
Customisable recording settings
Customise the camera's operation to suit your individual needs and environment. The camera features an adjustable IR illumination range and adjustable motion sensor sensitivity. Trigger intervals can be set from 5 seconds to 60 minutes, and video lengths from 5 to 20 seconds. The time-lapse function allows you to capture images and videos at preset intervals from 1 second to 24 hours. Beyond real-time recording, you can set precise start and end times for your surveillance. The camera has several recording modes, including 3-frame continuous shooting, time-lapse and a hybrid photo/video mode. Loop recording ensures continuous operation by automatically overwriting the oldest files when the memory card is full.
Additional features
Media is stored on a microSD card with a capacity of 4 GB to 128 GB. Each photo and video is tagged with important metadata such as date, time, ambient temperature and moon phase. The user interface supports 11 languages, and a 4-digit password protects your device from unauthorised access. The package includes a USB Type-C cable for connecting the camera to a computer. It also features a standard 1/4-inch tripod mount.
Power supply and operating conditions
The wildlife camera can be powered by 8 AA batteries or an external 6 V/1 A DC power supply. One set of batteries lasts up to 12 months in standby mode and 4 to 6 weeks in active use. The camera housing is designed for harsh environments and has an IP66 rating, making it dustproof and waterproof. It also works reliably in extreme conditions and is designed for a temperature range of -20°C to +60°C.
