The Levenhuk Trap LTE30 is a digital wildlife camera that automatically takes photos and videos when it detects movement. It features a highly sensitive PIR motion sensor and 850 nm infrared illumination, which allows it to capture images in complete darkness without visible light. This wildlife camera helps hunters collect data on the behaviour, movement patterns and activity times of wild animals. Researchers use it to obtain unique images of rare or shy animals and to track their migrations, behaviour and population numbers. The camera is also well suited for monitoring property, controlling unauthorised access and recording security breaches. With its camouflage pattern, the instrument blends seamlessly into its surroundings and remains undetectable to humans and animals.
60 MP photos and 5K video recordings
The camera automatically adjusts to lighting conditions and switches between colour images during the day and black-and-white images at night. A wide viewing angle of 120° ensures effective coverage of large areas. In daylight, the camera focuses from one metre to infinity. At night, the focus range is between 1.5 and 20 metres. High-resolution photos (up to 60 MP) and 5K videos ensure that everything is captured clearly and in detail.
4G LTE remote access
With a SIM card, you can quickly retrieve your photos and control the camera remotely. Install the TrailCam Go app on your Smartphone, insert a SIM card into the camera, and you're ready to adjust the settings remotely. View the photos and videos you've taken, save the best moments to your Smartphone and share them with friends and family. Files are stored in the cloud and can be sent via messaging apps or email in seconds.
Customisable recording settings
Several settings can be adjusted manually. The IR illumination range, motion sensor sensitivity, trigger interval from 5 seconds to 60 minutes, and video duration from 5 to 20 seconds can all be configured. With the time-lapse function, you can take photos and videos at set intervals from 1 second to 24 hours. The timer function allows you to plan your recordings in advance. The camera also features a continuous shooting mode with up to 3 frames, a time-lapse mode and a hybrid photo/video mode. For continuous operation, it uses loop recording, which automatically overwrites the oldest files when the memory card is full.
Additional features
All files are stored on an SD card. Each image and video contains recording data: date, time, ambient temperature and moon phase. The user interface supports 10 languages. A 4-digit code protects your personal data and entries and prevents the device from being used if stolen. The camera connects to a computer via the included USB Type-C cable. It has a standard 1/4-inch thread for mounting on a tripod.
Power supply: batteries, external source or solar panel
An outstanding feature of this model is the solar panel, which charges two integrated 5200 mAh 18650 lithium-ion batteries. Without solar charging, the batteries last for about 3 to 4 weeks. For longer operation, 8 AA batteries provide 4 to 6 weeks of active use. In standby mode, the camera can remain charged for up to 18 months without solar support. The camera can be connected to an external power source using the supplied 6V/1A cable. The housing is dustproof and waterproof to IP66 standard, and its operating range of -20°C to +60°C ensures reliable performance in all weather conditions.
Please note: The IR lighting emitted by the device may be visible to cameras and other similar electronic instruments during operation.
