Shell folding dome: your own observatories that can be easily assembled and disassembled as required!
Telescopes for ambitious amateurs are often large and heavy. Wouldn't it be practical if you could simply leave the instrument you have just painstakingly set up and furnished until the next observations? The Shell folding dome is an ideal solution. Like the tent observatory, it can be set up and taken down relatively quickly, but offers significantly more protection and, above all, more space than the tent. It takes around two hours to set up. Dismantling is also quick.
Weather resistance: The folding dome is waterproof and weatherproof. The manufacturer has tested it at a wind speed of 80 km/h. It retains its functionality in a temperature range of -10°C to 40°C. The only problem is snow loads, as the folding dome is not designed for this.

The Shell folding dome was developed for the radio telescope Spider 230, but it is also very interesting for observers in the optical field!
