Cardboard kit for a mini pair of binoculars with integrated lens protection. Smaller than a cheque card. Thinner than an eraser. According to the Guinness Book of Records, the world’s smallest pair of binoculars.
When folded, the Liliput folding binoculars are only half the size of a cheque card and half as flat as a standard eraser. Nevertheless, they are fully functional binoculars that are particularly useful when out and about. The sharpness of the upright, 2x magnified image is adjusted using a clever cardboard spring mechanism.
The Liliput folding binoculars are easy to assemble and are ideal as teaching aids in secondary schools. Like all other astronomy materials, they can of course also be used in miscellaneous group and project work on the subjects of astronomy and physics.
