The Böker Scout has been closely associated with our name since 1985. The classic pocket knife with backlock has been an integral part of our range throughout the years and has been produced in numerous variations. The completely redesigned spear point blade with an elegant false edge on the back of the blade gives the Scout a more modern and dynamic look without being obtrusive or aggressive. It is made from hand-forged Damascus steel by Chad Nichols from the USA and opened with a nail nick. The rust-free Damascus steel in the Coibelt pattern is ice-hardened to 59 HRC. This makes the Scout a sturdy everyday knife that combines classic style, elegance and practicality in an almost inimitable way. With a lanyard hole and elegant scales made of stabilised Scandinavian curly birch wood. Handcrafted in the Böker knife factory in Solingen. Each knife is delivered with an individual serial number in an elegant floating display with a certificate of authenticity.
1 Damascus steel is a composite steel, i.e. a steel made from at least two base steels with different properties. The end product has a clearly visible structure consisting of alternating layers of the base materials used. The aim of combining two or more base steels is to obtain an end product that combines their respective strengths.
