3Cr13 - Material information:
This stainless steel is characterised above all by its hardness and wear resistance. It has a very high carbon content: approximately 0.26 - 0.35%. The chromium content is approximately 12.0 - 13.0%, which means that its corrosion resistance is not quite as high. Nevertheless, it is considered "rust-free".
Care instructions: We recommend cleaning with a dry cloth and rubbing the blade with a little oil from time to time.
Information about the blade shape:
Sheepfoot blade
This blade shape is characterised by an absolutely straight cutting edge without any curvature. The tip of the knife is drawn down to the cutting edge. This makes the cut absolutely controllable. This blade is mainly used for sailing knives or rescue knives.
