Omegon Titania 300 monopod - lightweight, for use at a moment's notice
It's a perfect day and you are making the most of the weather to enjoy the scenery on a hike through the forests or the mountains. You don't know what you may see around next curve, maybe a rare bird or a deer drinking from clear spring water for instance? Who knows? Such special moments should be made the most of and it's also a good idea to have the right monopod handy.
Small, compact - always at hand
The Omegon Titania 300 monopod can accompany you on every excursion because it is so compact and light that you will hardly notice you are carrying it. At only 900 grams and with a collapsed length of 60cm there is enough space for it in most rucksacks. If you can't take much luggage, then a monopod is the optimal solution. So you don't have to do without a steady image for your observing or photographing.
Sturdy and able to support high loads
Despite its very low weight, the Titania 300 is capable of supporting high loads of up to around 3.5kg due to its solid quality and particularly good workmanship. The Titania range of monopods and tripods are manufactured from aluminium tubing, and the tube diameter for this particular model is 30mm. It is well able to support heavier cameras or binoculars.
Tried and tested in practice
It is the small details which make a monopod or tripod a particularly good product. The Titania has a three segment design, allowing you to easily adjust the length of the monopod to your own particular height. Adjusting its length is very straightforward: Simply undo the quick-release locks, adjust the length of the monopod to that required and close the quick-release locks once more to fix the length. A black foam grip is provided near the top of the monopod to make it more comfortable to handle. The monopod is perfectly suited to use on uneven surfaces such as in rocky terrain, on a handy wall or on a steep mountain slope - it can be used virtually anywhere.
Clever head
A suitable ball head comes already installed on the monopod. You can simply connect your binoculars, SLR camera or compact camera by using the standard 1/4" photo thread provided. You can lock the camera in the desired position by using the side screw. The head cans naturally be exchanged for another type at any time.

- monopod: compact and easily carried
- very light: only 900g in weight
