The Brightstar image field rotator
The image field rotator enables long-term photography without polar wedges on fork-mounted instruments. It is controlled via the ASCOM interface with USB. However, it is also possible to control the rotator directly by specifying the object coordinates, the time and the location. The optical path is only 2 centimetres. In addition, adaptors for 2-inch plugs on the telescope side and T2 on the telescope side are included. The rotator should not be used in the immediate vicinity of the zenith. It works well in combination with an off-axis-guider but not in combination with external guide tubes. The instructions are in English.
