Extension of the baffle tube for more even illumination of the image field.

The light shield of RC telescopes is very generously dimensioned. However, when using larger sensors, stray light can pass through the light shield and into the camera in older telescopes. This results in ring-shaped or arc-shaped bright spots, which can only be eliminated with a FLAT.
This extension made of matt black filament extends the light shield tube and thus prevents stray light from entering. The image field is illuminated more evenly.
The extension is easy to attach; it is inserted into the light shield tube from the front and holds in place by itself. The light shield tube extension itself is ultra-light and, when attached carefully, does not affect the collimation of the RC. You can start photographing immediately. The extension can remain on the light shield tube.
Note: The extension tube is only suitable for RC telescopes manufactured before 2021 and without the conical taper of the extension tube.
