Product description

This drive motor is used for electronic control of the helical focuser on the William Optics Red Cat and Space Cat 51mm telescopes in conjunction with a modified version of the "Handy Stepper Motor" (HSM stepper motor) from Starlight Instruments. It consists of a motor unit that is freely connected to the fine drive of the focusser on the telescope via a toothed belt.

High-precision focussing of heavy loads: The high-torque stepper motor is connected directly to the focuser via a toothed belt. This eliminates the backlash that would be caused by a transmission gear.
