The LS100 H-alpha system with a diameter of 100 mm for use with any refracting telescope and most other telescopes. The system includes blocking filters, whereby the B1200 blocking filter is designed for telescopes with a focal length of up to 1080 mm. The larger blocking filters are designed for longer focal lengths.
Since the LS100 has a bandwidth of approx. <0.7 Angstrom, it is able to offer high contrast, both for observations of the sun's surface and for details at the edge. By adding an optionally available double-stack etalon system, the bandwidth can be reduced to approx. <0.5 Angstrom (depending on the telescope used). This results in higher resolution for observation or photography.
