Heavy-duty double mounting plate, for up to 100kg

The solid 8" double mounting plate with a length of 570 millimetres is specially designed for the parallel installation of two large telescopes and offers a load capacity of up to 100 kilograms. It is therefore ideal for main instruments for tube sizes up to 17" together with another telescope. Thanks to its greater length, this plate allows for flexible balancing as well as sufficient space for additional accessories.

Pre-drilled attachment points allow the attachment of different clamps and adaptors (e.g. Baader Pan EQ clamps 190mm, 230mm and 370mm or an additional Baader Planewave-Clamp 8"), ensuring precise alignment of both optics. In conjunction with the Baader 8" PlaneWave clamp, the plate can also be easily moved to the right or left to perfect the balance. This makes the 570 millimetre double mounting plate a robust and versatile basis when it comes to implementing complex parallel mounts on large mounts (e.g. 10Micron GM3000, GM4000).
