Product description

Glide through space with both eyes

A premium fork mount for reaching any target in the sky at lightning speed.

Floating above the clouds. You could easily get that feeling with the new Neptune II premium fork mount. Experience now how easy it is to navigate even heavy large binoculars in any direction in the sky. What normal tripod heads cannot do is now very easy. Because from now on, you can steer your large binoculars to any target with just your little finger. So that observations seem weightless.

The advantages at a glance:

  • Solid fork mount for heavy large binoculars with a lens diameter of up to 110 mm or a width of up to 290 mm
  • Anodised aluminium, sturdy profiles and very high-quality workmanship for many years of enjoyable observation
  • Teflon-bearing, smooth movement in both axes, so you can reach any target without jerking and track it easily
  • Height adjustable between 90 and -30 degrees: so you can observe from the zenith down to the valley
  • Quality in every detail: designed by experienced observers

The fork mount of your choice
As an observer, you are probably familiar with this scenario: heavy binoculars on a tripod. Everything wobbles until the tripod head groans and you groan. It is impossible to focus on objects. How is observation supposed to work? Handheld? Forget it. Only with a stable fork mount does observation become a pleasure. The new Neptune II supports large binoculars with apertures up to 110 mm. On a buoyant cradle, the observation feels like you are floating from object to object.

On easy paths from 90 to -30 degrees
Whether high in the sky or deep below, with your binoculars you can now look in any direction. The curved fork shape even allows observations right up to the zenith. How about a deep look into the valley when you're standing on a mountain? Or from a high vantage point with a distant view? What is impossible with most fork mounts is now possible.

It is a fork for sky and nature observers who have tried many things and now want quality.

Teflon bearings in both axes
How can we still easily reach any target with heavy binoculars? Our developers have thought about this and present the solution: a uniquely smooth Teflon bearing in both axes. This sounds simple, as can be seen with other mounts, but is very difficult to implement. But that is precisely what makes observation so enjoyable. Now you can adjust any target smoothly with your left hand.

The power of the components
Anodised aluminium, smooth surfaces and rounded edges: a mount with a finish that impresses with its quality in every way. It can support binoculars weighing up to 9 kilograms, but weighs only 4.25 kilograms itself.

44 mm Universal dovetail mount
With a length of 170 mm, the universal prism rail is the basis for super-fast mounting. The lower part remains on the mount, the upper part on your binoculars. In no time at all, without any tools, you can bring the two together – and you're ready to look into the distance.

Tip: We recommend mounting the fork mount on a stable tripod with a load capacity of at least 10 kilograms.

360-degree swivel range in azimuth
A fantastic view in all directions. The blue sky above you, the mountain peaks in the distance and the snow glistening. You can capture this professionally in a panoramic photo. Mount a heavy camera and later conjure up your work from the photos.

Additional features:

  • 3/8" thread for mounting on a tripod
  • 1/4" photo screw to lock the binoculars in place
  • Clamping screws in both axes
