This set consists of:
Omegon's multifunctional finder guidescope set
With these components you get:
- The optics are originally guidescopes with precision Crayford focusers. You can therefore simply connect a guiding camera and use it for tracking control of your astro camera. The optics are supplied in guidescope configuration - to turn it into a finder, it is unscrewed and reassembled as shown in the pictures. This is child's play.
- A high magnification 17x45 finder with an upright, sideways image and illuminated crosshairs. 17x is too much? Then simply plug in another eyepiece instead of the 12mm one. With a 20mm eyepiece, for example, you get a 10x45 finder.
- Instead of a finder, the set can also be used as a spotting scope for daytime observations. You can mount it on a photo tripod, for example, using the Omegon Finder Scope Mounting Bar for 72/400 Quintuplet APO.
- You can also use the 90° Amici prism and the 12mm reticle eyepieces on other telescopes.
- The 30mm M48 extension is intended as a dew shield. If required, it can be screwed onto the front of the objective. Of course, you can also use this part as an extension tube elsewhere.
To familiarise yourself with all the advantages of the set, please read the descriptions of the individual products - they are linked above.
