Upgraded Extended Precision Knob for Easier Control
The Leofoto GR-3 Geared Panning Adapter is perfect for tasks that demand precise micro-adjustments. Building on the GR-2, the GR-3 features an extended, enlarged precision gear fine-tuning knob for easier handling and more controlled adjustments. Its improved design ensures it won’t interfere with other components when mounted on a tripod or used alongside other heads, providing enhanced compatibility and ease of use for professional photographers. Like its predecessor, the GR-3 features a detachable Arca rail on the bottom, allowing the unit to be attached directly to a tripod as a pseudo-head via 3/8” or onto a head via an Arca-compatible clamp.
Leofoto uses high-quality 6061-T6 aluminium alloy with magnesium and silicon as alloy components for the metal parts. This corrosion-resistant material is characterised by high strength and good toughness. The yield strength is comparable to that of structural steel. All parts are milled from solid material on state-of-the-art CNC machines and are therefore significantly more stable than cast parts. Leofoto makes no compromises here either !
