We all know the feeling - you want to attach your camera to a handrail, or fix a flower so that a gust of wind does not ruin your image composition. Or attach a small illuminator, or protect you and your valuable camera equipment with an umbrella.... the list is endless. There are a thousand situations where a clamp would be really useful.
