These pictures were taken through one and the same filter; colours and/or shades of grey were achieved by rotating the filter.
All adjustments are continuous – therefore, an unlimited number of intermediate positions can be selected.

This filter, which replaces more than 8 ordinary filters, saves you not only space but of course a substantial expense – whilst totally preserving image quality. Adjustments are continuous. This means, you have a large number of different filtering options available .

Used to eliminate chromatic aberration on achromatic refractor scopes :
Any refractor shows some colour fringe around bright objects. Usually, this fringe is either yellow or purple. The TS CC filter can be adjusted at any time to the object you wish to observe and to the eyepiece and the telescope used, in a way that just eliminates the colour fringe while keeping image colouring to a minimum. Simply rotate both parts of the filter relative to each other, until you reach the desired colour tone. It’ll take you no more than a few tries.
Used to increase contrast on planets :
The CC filter is particularly suited to increase contrast on Jupiter and Saturne, which both have a dominant yellowish colouring, but also on Mars and Venus, where the blue filter position will produce effective contrast enhancement. Once again, you simply select filter adjustment according to the particular object, eyepiece, telescope and surrounding conditions until you get a maximum of contrast. It’ll take you no more than a few tries.
Used to variably reduce brightness by 15 % to 80 % transmission:
Adapt the brightness of the object as best suited to the aperture of your telescope and to surrounding conditions. Doing so, you will effectively avoid irradiation but still get comfortable object brightness. No other grey filter is so flexible.
