Product description

For trouble-free operation of all instruments via car battery or power tank with cigarette lighter socket

Most telescopes can be powered by a 12V car battery via the cigarette lighter socket instead of the standard battery supply. This allows you to operate the instruments from your car's cigarette lighter. The so-called power tanks also have a corresponding socket and supply 12 volts.

Not suitable for: Meade DS-2000 and the large 16" telescope of the LX200 series (18 volts are required here).

A separate connector strip is included with the article.

This cable is not suitable for a mount. The mount requires more than 1A of current. The mount will say “no link to mount” and will have far less than the 12V than the mount requires.
