With the Ultimate Cable Master Cross Spike Version, WandererAstro solves one of the most common problems with RASA and Hyperstar systems: cables running freely in the optical path. Instead of cables, an ultra-thin, specially developed circuit board is used, which reliably transmits power and data without obstructing the light path with cables.
As well as providing a neater installation, the system reduces unwanted reflections and irregular diffraction artefacts. This Cross Spike version has been optimised through numerous stages of development and produces fine, uniform diffraction spikes that give astrophotographs a distinctive, high-quality look. According to the manufacturer, this variant also achieves very low optical shading and can offer slightly higher image sharpness compared to the Spike-Free version.
Integrated connection hub
Depending on the model, the Ultimate Cable Master features integrated USB and power connections directly on the front of the telescope.
