Integra 85 is the 2nd generation of Geminis integrated focuser-rotators. Integra will solve your focusing and rotating needs with a short backfocus (69 mm) and the highest precision. The focusing function of the Integra 85 is based on 3 fine pitch leadscrews running in special low friction nuts that provide high loading capacity up to 8 kg with 0,05 micron steps. A powerful rear-earth magnet hybrid stepper motor drives the leadscrews.
The rotator is using a traditional wormwheel and the hybrid stepper is connected directly to the worm. A special dual bearing combination is ensuring that your camera is held in position as precisely as possible, without play or backlash. Most reducers and flatteners fit into its 85mm ID barrel. The travel is 10 mm.
Integra 85 connects to the telescope by 3pc M5 screws that provide the possibility to precisely collimate the focuser. Aluminium, copper and stainless steel is used to build up this robust product. The real carbon cover gives an exclusive look to this unique microfocuser-rotator.
The Integra 85 adapts best to large Ritchey–Chrétien, Dall-Kirkhams, Schmidt–Cassegrain and other Cassegrain telescopes. Gemini can provide adapters for Newtonians as well.
Integra 85 has its dedicated ASCOM electronics with end-of-travel sensor and autocalibration feature (focuser only). USB and Bluetooth controlled, 12VDC powered. Control your Integra85 with your Android Smartphone!
