The modules at a glance:
- Telescope: Simulates the view through a telescope. Possible objects to observe include the moon, planets, star clusters, nebulae and galaxies. Click on the desired object to display the most important information.
- Rotating sky map: Simulates the view of the starry sky at any given time. The positions of the moon and planets are also displayed and can be animated over time.
- Moon clock: Shows the phase and position of the moon at any given time.
- Planet map: Provides the most important information about the planets in our solar system. Sight lines from Earth to the selected planet illustrate the planetary orbits.
- Constellation Atlas: Contains all constellations visible from Central Europe. Detailed description of the main objects as well as their location, visibility and mythology.
