Universal Solar Finder

The solar finder allows you to align the telescope with the sun without having to squint through the telescope to locate the sun with your eyes. Through a small opening, the image of the sun is projected onto a matte screen using the principle of a pinhole camera, which has a crosshair for adjustment.

The telescope's optical finders should be removed for solar observation if they are not also equipped with solar filters.
