The Moon – the ultimate photo chronicle of NASA
Moonshots is the definitive photographic chronicle of NASA's space programme, featuring more than 200 images from this momentous era, captured with large-format Hasselblad cameras.
In December 1968, an image of the Earth floating alone in the dark expanse of space was seen around the world. Taken by the Apollo 8 crew, the photo caused a social shock that never completely subsided until the moon landing on 20 July 1969.
