Sky-Watcher stray light shield, perfectly adapted for Skyliner FlexTube dobson telescopes.
An extremely useful accessory, specifically designed to seal the open lattice tube light-tight. It prevents light from entering the optical path, thereby increasing contrast and preventing dust and condensation from forming on the mirrors.
The stray light cover is made of polyester with an inner black velvety surface, which prevents internal reflections. The fabric is slightly elastic, allowing it to mould perfectly to the contours of the telescope tube. Both ends of the light shield are fitted with drawstrings, and it can also be secured along its length to the tube using adhesive strips. Furthermore, two sturdy struts have been integrated along the length of the light shield to keep it in shape.
