The Pocket Lights in the new Walther Pro series strike the perfect balance between environmental sustainability and price consciousness. The Multi Battery System offers new flexibility thanks to its compatibility with different rechargeable and disposable batteries.
Walther Pro PL60
This model is called "Pocket Light" with good reason. With its slim, end-to-end tubular design and a diameter of 26 mm it almost disappears in your jacket. It features an output of up to 500 lumens, a Multi Battery System and a turning focus. PX8 rating for watertightness to 15 m.
The PL60 RS has a remote push button switch (RS) but is otherwise the same in design. It comes with a rugged but compact mounting. The light values with mounted remote push button switch will be reduced (e.g. Lumens -20%), due to technical reasons. With the remote push button switch the lower output levels of 40% and 10% are not possible and the Tactical Defense Mode is disabled.
TECHNOLOGIES:
BAS - Beam Adjustment System
The BAS provides maximum light regardless of the focus position. In the PL models, an aluminium reflector is coupled with an acrylic glass lens, allowing you to tailor the light to your needs.
FFC - Fast Focus Change
Lamps with FFC can be quickly adjusted to the desired focus position with one hand.
MBS - Multi Battery System
Lamps with the Multi Battery System allow maximum flexibility in terms of energy supply. In addition to powerful lithium batteries, cost-effective alkaline batteries or environmentally friendly rechargeable batteries can also be used.
TCS - Time Control System
It makes no sense to use 100 percent of the maximum brightness for the entire operating time until the batteries are empty. That is why Walther Pro Lights start at maximum brightness but then reduce it to a lower level to increase the lighting duration. This is not a problem, as the human eye works very well with less light in the dark. Apart from that, too much light is often neither necessary nor useful.
TDS - Tactical Defense Strobe
In this mode, the Pro Light emits rapid flashes at a frequency of 20 Hz. These flashes blind and disorient any attackers.
TPS - Time Protection System
The TPS monitors the temperature and reduces power and brightness as needed to protect the components from damage.
