A quick tongue is required! Players aged seven and up compete against each other in "Blurble!" and put their vocabulary to the test.
The first player to find a word that matches a card wins that card. This is a fun way to expand language skills and train logical thinking. But be careful: is your mouth faster than your brain?
Tongue twisters and slip-ups are inevitable when creativity and speed collide. First, the deck of cards with over 190 different motifs is placed in the middle. Then the game begins: the first two players reveal a card and compete against each other. A witch can be seen. Now what? The players have to think outside the box: first recognise the motif and then find a new word beginning with its first letter, in this example H. Hund, Haus or Held? The first player to come up with a suitable word wins the card. In the heat of the moment, this is surprisingly difficult and leads to some funny mental blocks.
But be careful: it has to be a word in German, have at least three letters, and cannot be a number, a proper noun or contain the starting word. In addition, each word can only be used once per game. The winner of each round competes against the other players until they lose a duel. The new winner then competes against the others in turn. The player with the most cards wins.
For even more excitement, Blurble offers different game variants. Whether a certain number of cards must be collected, all players compete against each other in a lightning round, or the difficulty level is increased by only allowing nouns or verbs – every version offers funny situations. Depending on the time available and the number and age of the players, they can choose the most suitable variant. This makes Blurble an entertaining family game or a great way to liven up a party.
