The Leofoto DY-40 turns your monopod into a stable, versatile studio tripod. Ideal for lightweight camcorders or mirrorless cameras – especially for stationary applications in the studio or for video recordings with steady camera work.
Multifunctional
Simply replace the rubber foot on the monopod with the DY-40 and your monopod will stand securely on three legs. Whether for interviews, product shots or live streams, the DY-40 ensures reliable stability.
Dolly or table mode
The three rubberised castors can be braked individually and provide a secure footing on smooth surfaces. The wheels can be removed in seconds using the tool supplied, transforming the dolly into a compact tabletop tripod in no time at all.
Adjustable leg angles & easy transport
The legs can be locked in three different angles – either flat for maximum stability and a low shooting position, or at two angles for more height. They can be folded onto the monopod to save space during transport.
Expandable & easy to connect
Multiple threaded holes in 1/4", M5 and M6 allow you to attach accessories such as LED lights, cable holders or counterweights – ideal for custom studio setups.
Leofoto uses high-quality 6061-T6 aluminium alloy with magnesium and silicon as alloy components for the metal parts. This corrosion-resistant material is characterised by high strength and good toughness. The yield strength is comparable to that of structural steel. All parts are milled from solid material on state-of-the-art CNC machines and are therefore significantly more stable than cast parts. Leofoto makes no compromises here either !
