This unique view features a new map projection that emphasises the Pacific Ocean and shows Oceania and Asia in close proportion to their actual size on Earth.
It brings Oceania and Asia into the centre of the image and dramatically shows the entire expanse of the Pacific Ocean. The Pacific-centred world map features classic National Geographic cartography, with political boundaries, thousands of place names, time zones and special map features showing world vegetation and land use, as well as population density.
The map is protected on both sides by a 0.07 mm thick, glossy polyester film.
This laminated map can be written on with water-soluble pens. Self-adhesive stickers can also be applied and removed again.
The map is delivered rolled up in a plastic tube.
