Achim Mros

Achim is a long-time amateur astronomer and, as precision engineer, our specialist for all mechanical telescope components.

He has dedicated himself to the tuning of astronomical accessories, as well as the design and assembly of special solutions. As a staff member of the Buchloe public observatory, his passion is to inspire others who share his interest in astronomy. For six years he was on the management board and technical advisor to the AGB e.V., as well as head of the deep sky section. Today he mainly dedicates himself to visual observing, and from time to time he takes charge of guided tours through the night sky in a variety of locations.
