This roof prism is very good for terrestrial observing as it gives an upright and non-reversed image (in lens telescopes or refractors). It is not well suited to astronomical observing due its difficult to use 45° viewing angle.
It is fully coated for high contrast and sharp image rendition.
An Alternative to the Skywatcher 1.25'' 45° Amici prism is provided by the virtually identical Meade 45° Amici prism.
