The G3-11000 CCD cameras from Moravian offer very good performance on almost all amateur telescopes for astrophotography. With a diameter of 44 mm, the camera can still be used with stable 2" focusers and appropriate correctors. The resolution of 11MPx and 9-µm pixels allows even finer object details to be captured with a very large field of view. The G3-11000 is an excellent camera for virtually all amateur telescopes.
Advantages of the G3-11000 camera:
- Easy adaptation to the telescope or telephoto lens
- Full format – image field as with 35 mm cameras
- Mechanical shutter (ideal for dark frames)
- 2-stage Peltier cooling to 45 °C below ambient temperature
- Exposure time from 200 ms to any value
- KAI-11002 camera sensor with high sensitivity (quantum efficiency up to 40% - good sensitivity even in the red range)
- Classic aspect ratio 36.3 x 24.2 mm or 3:2 – for good illumination even with a 2" connection
Adaptation to the telescope: The G3 camera is supplied as standard with an M68x1 (ZEISS Level) connection on the telescope side. The distance from the M68 internal thread to the camera sensor is 30.5 mm.

We recommend ordering the filter wheel Moravian Filter wheel for G3 CCD camera - 7x 2" or 50mm filter, unmounted at the same time, then Moravian can attach the filter wheel immediately and also adapt it electronically. The filter wheel is screwed directly to the camera.
