The ALccd-QHY 9 is a CCD camera with a Kodak sensor. It is an exceptionally high-performance camera with excellent cooling. The housing is light and compact, and the fan is large and quiet. A camera for high demands!

The camera electronics feature a 32 MB buffer (SDRAM), which allows the entire image to be downloaded in one piece. This results in significantly lower noise levels during transmission.
The ALccd-QHY 9 can lower the temperature of the sensor to minus 50 degrees ambient temperature via an advanced cooling system (separate sensor chamber, cooling finger, large fins). The temperature is controlled via the supplied DC201 control box and the camera's control software.
