Although the camera is not cooled, it is nevertheless perfect for countless nebulae. The reason is ingenious - the CMOS sensor has an exceptionally high quantum efficiency of 77% at 533nm. This is possible thanks to a back-lit sensor - the latest technology from Sony for more light on the chip.
For planets - right into the IR spectrum
The extremely low noise gives your photos more detail. This makes your exposures clearer and more beautiful - you can look forward to a wealth of detail on Jupiter. However, the Touptek can also explore beyond visible light: For example, photographing Venus in IR light - a great project for any amateur astronomer.

The sensitivity of the chip means this camera is perfect for autoguiding. Even if you can only find fainter stars in the immediate vicinity, it is simply no problem for the Touptek 1200. Just connect the camera to your mount via the built-in ST-4 port and you immediately have perfectly tracked exposures of galaxies and nebulae.
