This video camera is optimised for use with the Starbook Ten from Vixen. It can be connected directly to the Advanced Unit of the Starbook and delivers a colour video on the display. The Advanced Unit is required for connection.
In combination with the Starbook Ten, this camera offers you an excellent system for guiding with a guide scope without having to use a laptop or PC! The image on the right shows such a setup. The camera is mounted on top of the long-focus achromatic lens telescope and tracks the guide star cleanly via the Starbook to the SXD2 mount. The actual image is captured by the Vixen VSD 100 apochromatic refractor using a standard SLR camera. This can also be controlled via the Starbook Ten.
