Apochromatic Barlow with genuine ED glass designed to correct off-axis coma in Newtonian telescopes
This Barlow allows you to observe planets and deep sky objects at the edge of the 1.25" eyepiece field with similar quality as on the axis. Dobson owners in particular will benefit from this, as they can never keep the object exactly on the axis.
The coma-corrected field is designed for the APS-C format. Due to its unique quality, this Apo Barlow lens also delivers image quality on telescope systems such as refractors or Schmidt-Cassegrains that is hardly matched by any other Barlow lens on the market.
This new and improved coma-correcting ED Barlow lens is optimised for an aperture ratio of f/4 parabolic mirrors. This Barlow lens features Chinese ED glass FK61 (comparable to Ohara FPL51) as its ED element, is cemented and has a broadband multi-coating on both sides, which provides a transmission of over 99% in the spectrum from 400 nm to 700 nm.
