Mount Star Tracker V2 25° - 90°

Compact, mobile and extremely precise, the OG Star Tracker V2 enables impressive long-exposure shots of the night sky with a DSLR camera.

• High precision: Thanks to the low periodic error of only about 10–15 arc seconds, you can achieve long exposure times – without the need for an autoguider.
• Easy polar alignment: Alignment with the North Star is easy using an optional pole finder or a suitable app.
• Integrated camera control: A built-in intervalometer connection with dithering support enables automated exposure control and better image quality.
• Time-lapse function: Use the tracking function for creative night-time time-lapse photography.
• Robust construction: Stable and reliable even with loads of up to 4 kg (approx. 5 kg total load).

The Star Tracker comes with a pole finder mount, but without a pole finder. The EQ5 pole finder from Skywatcher, for example, is suitable. The Star Tracker also has a flat surface with a stop where a smartphone can be placed securely. With freely available apps, the smartphone's internal sensors can then be used to align the mount with the North Star (or the South Celestial Pole).
