Colours and a fast live image
The live image from this 1.4 megapixel CCD camera is updated up to 28 times per second. This allows you to focus comfortably on your samples without any noticeable delay. You and your employees will also benefit from the colour fidelity on the monitor: no more straining your eyes through the eyepieces. Even dynamic processes or moving samples can be conveniently observed by several people in the live image. Thanks to its good dynamics, we recommend Axiocam ICc 1 especially for bright field and phase contrast images.
As part of product maintenance, the general image quality of the new AxioCam ICc 1 has been improved. The signal-to-noise ratio has been significantly improved. This means that it can also be used in difficult lighting conditions. CCD cameras are far more light-sensitive than CMOS sensor chips and are therefore better suited for fluorescence imaging, for example. The image quality can be further optimised with the black reference and hot pixel correction functions.
