With the Combo Quark you can transform your schmidt-cassegrain or maksutov telescope into an H-alpha telescope for solar observation!
As with the two Quark models for refracting telescopes (article 44775 and article 44774), you simply have to insert the Combo Quark into the focuser (1.25" and 2" are both possible).
But be careful: When using the Combo Quark on your SC or MAK, you urgently need an additional special off-axis objective filter to prevent too much solar energy from entering your optical system!
In addition to the Combo Quark, you will therefore need a suitable ERF filter. These are also available from DayStar. We will be happy to advise you!
The Combo Quark is also available in two versions:
- 0.8 to 0.6 Ångström for prominences
- 0.5 to 0.3 Ångström for the chromosphere
