For photographic correction of the field of view, ASA produces correctors calculated by optical designer Dipl. Phys. Philipp Keller.
All correctors have sufficient back focus to allow the use of all common CCD and DSLR cameras.
The correctors are not calculated for a narrow spectral range of 450 to 650 nm, but are optimised for an extended bandwidth of 400 to 700 nm – and in some cases even beyond. Every lens used in ASA correctors is measured by ASA engineers for radius and strength. This eliminates lenses that fall outside the strict ASA tolerances.
All corrector housings are manufactured in our own CNC production facility. Only high-quality aluminium is used, which is processed within tolerances of just 0.01 mm. Strict quality control of the lenses, together with precise processing of the frame, guarantees a high-quality, reference-class end product.
Each corrective lens is checked and measured before delivery.
