In recent decades, our solar system has been increasingly mapped. The Voyager 2 spacecraft visited all four outer planets from 1979 to 1989. The dwarf planet Pluto was finally reached in 2015 by the New Horizons probe.
The planetary globe is based on the best possible cartographic data. For the sake of simplicity, the category “Planet Surface” also includes the cartography of moons that orbit other planets - only our own Moon is excluded from this. It gets its own category “Moon”.
