Globes with an antique map and parchment-coloured ocean or an ornate wooden foot are classified as rustic and natural.

Wood plays a major role not only in furniture, but also in globes and other decorative objects. Rustic globes give a room a warm, natural atmosphere. Globes in this design fit in very well and emphasise their character with natural materials and colours. Some globes have an antique map with nostalgic symbols or are especially detailed. The manufacturers rely on wood or a metal in gold or other warm tones for the foot and the meridian.
