With this adapter (insulated, so-called "cold shoe"), photo accessories cannot simply be attached to a ball head or a tripod. What's more, thanks to the rotatable and tiltable head of this adapter, the attached accessory (it can also be a flash unit) can be moved freely in all directions and aligned with particular precision. In addition, the FA-09 has two mounting options: an Arca-Swiss-compatible base and a ¼ "thread on its underside.
