Optics – System H2
The System H2 optics of the Vantage HD range combine phase-corrected BAK-4 roof prisms with a fully multi-coated optical system. The nitrogen-purged construction is waterproof and fog proof, ensuring reliable optical performance even in changing weather conditions.
Vantage HD 8x26
The Hawke Vantage HD 8x26 is the particularly compact model within the range and an ideal lightweight binocular for hiking, travelling and spontaneous nature observation. Its 8x magnification provides a steady and versatile viewing experience, while the 119-metre field of view at 1,000 metres makes it easy to keep track of moving subjects and wider surroundings.
Weighing just 285 grams, the binocular is easy to carry even on longer trips. A close focus distance of 3.5 metres also makes it suitable for observing nearby subjects. Twist-up eye cups and 16 mm of eye relief provide comfortable viewing, including for many spectacle wearers.
