APM Doublet SD Apo 140 f/7 FPL53 and lanthanum optics in mount

The 140/980 SD Apo features a Doublet optics with SD glass, one lens of which is made of FPL-53 to achieve the best possible colour correction. To guarantee the typical high quality of APM telescopes, each lens undergoes an interferometric test at 532 nm (green) before shipping.
