The Leofoto Ranger LS-324C has a maximum working height of 140 centimeters and with the supplied center column you can increase the working height to no less than 171 cm. The length when folded is 58 centimeters and the LS-324C weighs 1.95 kilograms including the LH-40PCL ball head. The minimum working height of this tripod is only 17 centimeters. Despite its low weight, this Ranger tripod has a load capacity of 15 kilograms.
The LH-40 ballhead has a load capacity of 20 kilograms. This is achieved by the large ball diameter of 40 millimetres, which is manufactured with a tolerance of 0.01 millimetres. This allows the ballhead to move even heavy loads easily and clamp them securely. The ballhead itself weighs only 491 grams.
The base diameter of the ballhead is 57 millimetres, its height is 87 millimetres. It is connected to the tripod via a 3/8-inch photo thread.
This version of the ballhead is equipped with a quick-release coupling with clamping lever and a panorama turntable.
100% carbon
All Leofoto carbon tripod legs are made of 10-layer carbon material. This promises high stability with low weight and, in addition, high corrosion resistance.
Leofoto uses high-quality 6061-T6 aluminium alloy with magnesium and silicon as alloy components for the metal parts. This corrosion-resistant material is characterised by high strength and good toughness. The yield strength is comparable to that of structural steel. All parts are milled from solid material on state-of-the-art CNC machines and are therefore significantly more stable than cast parts. Leofoto makes no compromises here either !
