Leofoto FDM spotting scope mounts
These holders are designed to mount and align two or more different optics in parallel on a tripod. Typical applications would be, for example:
- Long-range shooters: spotting scope & rangefinders
- Hunters: binoculars & thermal imaging camera
- Birdwatchers: spotting scope and camera
- and
The holder itself can be mounted on any Arca-Swiss clamp. Thanks to various tripod threads, it can also be mounted on any other tripod head.
The Leofoto FDM-02 spotting scope mount consists of the following components:
- BPL-200 long adapter rail
- Ballhead LH-22 with clamp on Arca-Swiss rails
- DDC-38 cross clamp
- Quick release plates PU-25 and NP-60S
It has a maximum width of 200 mm and weighs 515 grams.
Leofoto uses high-quality 6061-T6 aluminium alloy with magnesium and silicon as alloy components for the metal parts. This corrosion-resistant material is characterised by high strength and good toughness. The yield strength is comparable to that of structural steel. All parts are milled from solid material on state-of-the-art CNC machines and are therefore significantly more stable than cast parts. Leofoto makes no compromises here either !
