Virtually useless on its own

According to the description, this product "You can progressively dim the view when observing a bright object, such as the Moon or certain planets, to a level according to your needs"
Nope, its a simple filter that maybe reduces light at a fixed amount, not specified (about 15%, my most optimist guess)
Maybe you need to buy a pair to make that work? Anyway, it should be mentioned!
